We are a property preservation company seeking new inspectors in the Abilene area and surrounding locations (rates outside Abilene can be negotiated). Inspection rates are $5-$8 per inspection and typically require 1-3 minutes of your time at each property. Many of our inspectors can easily complete 30-80+ inspections per day. Standard pricing is $5 per inspection, $6 for interior inspections and $8 for rush inspections. Additional inspection types are also available which range from $15 upwards. These types of orders will be assigned in conjunction with the regular $5 inspections. No experience is needed. Qualifications include: 1. Ability to use personal vehicle to complete work on a daily basis 2. Reliable mode of transportation to and from various properties throughout the day to complete assignments 3. Cell phone 4. Laptop 5. Ability to pay for all costs associated with traveling (including but not limited to: gas, vehicle maintenance, emergency repairs to vehicle as needed, etc.) 6. Ability to navigate local streets and roads using paper maps or/and laptop with GPS and mapping software Duties involved and types of assignments include: 1. Residential Occupancy Inspections – These inspections pay $5-$8 each and require a general description of the property including: occupancy status, color, estimated value (official appraisal not required, just general property value), construction type, garage type, yard condition, property condition, neighborhood condition. Generally speaking, one can complete all information needed at a property in less than one minute. Sometimes a notice must be left with the homeowner which indicates they need to contact their mortgage company. Collecting from the occupant or soliciting in any way is not part of the job description. 2. Delinquency Interview / Collateral Inspections – These inspections pay $15 each. You will be required to attempt contact with individuals who have become delinquent on either a vehicle, credit card loan or mortgage loan. If contact is not made, you must attempt contact with three neighbors to determine occupancy and any information regarding the occupant. 3. Insurance Loss Inspections – Require an appointment with the homeowner to take 3-5 photos of damages, claims ore repairs made against their homeowner policy. These inspections pay $15 each. 4. Merchant Site Verification – Rates begin at $10+ and involve a visual observation and a few photos of the business to confirm legitimacy of the business.
